We Need Your Help!

                

Glasgow International Students' Welcome Programme is staffed by student volunteers and provides much needed support to international students, and their families, when they first arrive in Glasgow. 

We are currently seeking dedicated, flexible and hard working students to assist us in delivering this support. 

What is Involved?

Volunteers will meet and greet international students as they arrive and will provide them with information regarding university procedures, travel and help to find accommodation.  Volunteers will also signpost students to specific University Advisers where necessary. 

Time Committment

This is up to you!  Any time you are able to offer is greatly appreciated.  You should contact your University's International Student Support Team to register your interest and request more information.

The Programme runs from 3 - 25 September 2011 and operates between 09.00 hours and 20.00 hours.

Training

Training will be provided before the start of the Welcome Programme.  However, if you are not able to attend training, ongoing support and guidance will be given throughout.  Dates of training will be forwarded to you in due course and should take place in August.
